Great mic for both live and studio purposes
RobbEd 06.12.2020
I use this mic on acoustic and classical guitar. Sound is always subjective, but in my opinion this is a beautiful sounding mic.

It's adaptable fastening design is great for strumming, picking, percussive striking which are all possible with correct placement and the gooseneck holds it's position wherever I put it.
I position the mic around the 11th to 17th fret and at a height of 5cm-8cm depending on style and mood, but it comes with a caveat. My fingers sometimes have to "duck" under the mic if playing around that area of the fretboard but I consider it good practice not to lift fingers too high from the strings anyway!

The only two dubious points:
1) The clamp that holds the mic to the guitar body relies on a small plastic clip which feels like it could break if overexerted.
2)The lead from the mic to the XLR adaptor is also very thin. I understand the idea that you don't want a thick cable hanging off your guitar, impairing the weight and playing ability.

In both regards though, I have had this mic for over a year (Sept 2019) and treated with respect had no problems thus far.

I am very happy with my purchase.

A great mic BUT...
Mogacila | Alexis Metallinos 02.05.2023
I recently bought this mic for my classical guitar live performances. I usually perform with an amp and a looper in streets and venues, I hoped that with this mic I would have a better quality sound of my guitar because the di sound it's a bit weird to my ears. The sound quality is spectacular and I recently used this mic in the studio to record a new song of mine and I am very happy with the result, BUT. When I tried to rehearse with my live setup I found out that the mic isn't as directional as they market it, also the feedback was too much in most of the venues and stages. I think it's a very good mic to use as a Solo Concert mic and not for looping or very crowded and loud venues. Plus I still use it as a studio mic to record short videos for my Instagram and my compositions.

TI
Absolute X-FACTOR mic for anything acoustic
The Irish Chief 30.03.2022
This mic is absolutely mind-blowing on every level. It reproduces the most accurate sound to make your instrument sing.

If you own a good acoustic instrument, it needs a good mic. Simples. No 300 dollar pickup will reproduce the sound of your 3,000 dollar cello, guitar...

This attachable mix with it's indestructible cable is the best thing you will ever purchase for your live performance. You instrument and audience will thank you.

Looking for best microphone for your Acoustic Guitar? this is it. Clip on is one of the best feature of this microphone because you can move during playing. Sound? It's DPA, no doubt. in addition it has goose neck, so easy to find sweet spot. only price is matter but once you plug in, you won't remember your bill. go and get it.
