A
Sound like Kirk.

I recently purchased this Kirk Hammett signature Wah pedal from Thomann. First off the transaction was very smooth and the item arrived in very good time and in great condition.

I play in a Metallica tribute band so I am always looking to upgrade my sound to get as close to Kirk's tone as best I can. I had a normal Dunlop Crybaby up until I bought this new one. I was a bit skeptical as to how different the sound would actual be, questioning am I just buying the same pedal except paying for the name. I can safely say that is not the case. It's eerie but you can really here Kirk's tone in this wah. It really gives the wah solos that extra Hammett feel. It doesn't over-saturate the sound like the regular Dunlop can do. It has a very smooth tone to it and like the original Dunlop it's simple in how it works. Click on, click off.

The graphic design is beautiful and a nice nod to Kirk's horror obsession. There some cool mentions on the rear panel too about Kirk's favourite wah solos. If your a Metallica fan and you want to take a step closer to replicating the Hammett tone then this wah does the job. \m/

Generally, this pedal effect has everything I expected. I use it daily when playing the guitar.
As a fan of Kirk Hammett I am completely satisfied with the sound which this effect provides. The effect range is very vast. I got me closer to the sound of Kirk Hammett's solos when playing Metallica songs, although it sounds great also with music by different bands (for instance Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin).
Another big advantage is full metal body, so you do not need to worry about the durability of the pedal.
On the other hand, in comparison with Dunlop Crybaby CB-535Q, this model lacks boost and Q control. But since this is a signature model, I do not consider it as a major disadvantage.

To sum it up, I really recommend this wah wah pedal.

Giving you the full sweep and maximum range of expression of a classic wah pedal, the Dunlop KH95 can range from Schenker-esque wah to full-on Kirk Hammett-style Black album screaming, making your leads soar. Which, let's face it, is exactly what you want from this pedal.

The pedal is sturdy, as one would expect from a Dunlop.

Visually, the greenburst finish added with the skeletal foot design adds up to 1 beautiful looking pedal.

Basically this pedal is quality however you look at it.

Awesome but overpriced

works perfectly fine but it's kinda overpriced. I would only recommend this if you are a big Metallica or Kirk Hammet fan, the Original dunlop wah works the same way
