E
Fantastic Pedal
Eric286 20.03.2015
This has been a great addition to my pedalboard. I was initially looking at the B9/C9 organ simulator. But then I thought that whilst the occasional organ sim would be good, a full blown multiorgan pedal was OTT. So I took a gamble on this because of its ability to synthesise an organ sound with the filters. Works brilliant, I also like to create the "hammond" sound but also add the original guitar and slow attack on the organ so that it builds up behind the guitar sustained note. The big attraction of this pedal is that of the 8 memory slots. I play in classic-rock/blues in a guitar /bass/drums band and I basically use in a set, 4 sounds, ...1. Pure organ 2. Direct guitar with slow attack organ 3. 12 string effect, 4. chorus. Brilliant, economises on pedalboard space, its easily programmed, and the footswitch allows you to change effect by foot, or true bypass. My pedalboard is simple ...Morley miniwah, BB+ drive, POG2, delay & tuner. Gives me a real palette of sounds.

Poggers

I looked at all the myriad octave pedals out there and popular opinion said this one was the best of the lot. What clinched it for me was that it has 8 memory slots to store your own presets. I really don't want to be bending down to fiddle with settings between songs, and 8 is more than enough.

Octaver: tracks excellently, copes with bends and chords and really anything you play
Modulation: adds a nice shimmer to give a very useable organ sound if you take off some of the dry attack
Boost: I can even use one preset just to boost the signal a little with no other effects. Saves having to try to remember to change volume or pickup on the guitar

Those people online telling me this was the best octaver? They were right. Thanks!

Magic!
andreandre 20.09.2020
This pedal is nowadays a legend and many artists I admire already immortalized it. I needed an octave pedal and didn't want to mess it up so I researched a lot. After hearing and analyzing almost every pedal on the market, I hurt my brain a lot. Guess that's why this pedal is a no brainer. I was afraid of latency (because all digital octaves have it) I found out that even though this code has more than 10 years, it's still the best on the market. The sound is pure magic, but not for everyone I guess. The thing is the versatility, the creative ways you can use it. It's the most beautiful guitar pedal I've ever used and I'm very sensitive to latency, but the sound is just too good to be upset about it and you can just increase the dry output and mask it a little. What a pedal, dear God!

Amazing octaver for organ-like sounds
ardanoviz 31.07.2018
Premise: I'm not one of these EH fanboy at all.
But this pedal attracted me for a long time, so in the end I bought it and now it's stably on my main board.
The building quality is awesome: never had any problems in many years of intensive usage.
For what concerning the sound, I was expecting something like the normal 3-knobs Pog that I've previously tried: forget about it.
The Pog2 sounds way better to me, not only because of more controls but even in simple "octaver" mode.
The pitch tracking is perfect even while playing chords in every part of the fretboard. Octaves sounds very "real", hot and smooth.
The attack/filter/detune part is where the magic happens: filter is astonishing and the attack control is really precise (thanks to the dry pot it can be used as a swell effect). Working with the Q button many true organ-like sounds can be obtained.
The general usage is really simple and self explanatory.
Personally I've never used the preset options, but if needed it's there.
Cons: Maybe the price is a little high? And an expression pedal would be useful.
