The "57" bridge pickup offers the characteristic PAF quality in its sound, while the active attributes provide the headroom and the punch for more definition and presence
The "66" neck pickup is warm with a smooth Mid-Range, powerful basses and clarity in the treble
Potentiometers with long shaft for guitars with thicker tops

I bought these pickups mainly for live performances, and I'm happy to say that I'm really pleased.
Installation: This is such a breeze because of the modular quick connect system. As long as there is a selector switch on your guitar you won't have to solder anything.
Sound:
These things sound really good, especially for active pickups. If you were to compare this to real PAF pickups you'd find that they aren't a 100% the same, but if you were to just plug them in and play without anybody knowing that these are active pickups nobody would notice. The main advantage is that they have a really high output so your amp goes into overdrive much quicker. If you turn down the volume it cleans up really nicely. The tone control is not really that good, which is why sound only gets 4 stars from me. It is almost like a digital lowpass filter, even though the pot is a true passive tone control. Luckily I don't really ever turn the tone lower than 7, so it works well enough for me. The biggest selling point is of course that these things are noiseless and I can confirm that you won't hear the pickups, only amp noise.
Overall, I'd recommend these, especially when playing live

SOLDERLESS humbucker pickups for Les Paul!
Panagiotis Ky. 30.01.2019
Active pickups with long shaft pots for archtop guitars,
with complete easy to install solderless system!
Best "Vintage sound" EMGs!
Far better than "RetroActive" sets.
The 57 reminds me the "gibson humbucker 57 classic plus"
The 66 is warm and smooth.
PAF-like response with excellent dynamics!
Standard string spacing. No good for Floyd-Rose
Highly recommended!

Excellent matched set

Great active pick ups for all types of style. Great for 80s metal and blues. No cons, easy to install and now have them in 2 guitars.
