The EB2804 is a little pricy, but they are worth every penny. Having used Fender string for years and wanted to try a different brand the EB was a perfect fit. I uses the EB flat wound on my Jazz, precision and Rickenbacker and I will never go back. The sound is warm and filling and the flatwound gives a great smooth feeling and easy to play for a longer session. Try them out!

Ernie Ball vs D'addario Chromes
2778997 26.09.2020
Comparing both strings, the D'addarios articulate a kind of easier, but the articulation is very much the same playing or louder. They like a kind of too much, "tank" strings. The Ernie Balls feel to me more natural strings, no tanks, and they feel more elastic/flexible than the D'addarios.
