Ernie Ball patch cables are high quality and well manufactured. Various tests on the internet and my own experience confirms that it does not allow noise to bleed through (electric inference etc). It looks good, it is nice to touch, it does its job well. However, what I would like to stress is that please consider if this cable is right for your purpose. The jacks in the end are large and take up quite a lot of room. The cable is stiff and does not want to bend that well, especially when you have to route it around tight corners. Therefore, I don't really use it on my pedal board, however, there are some instances when it has been very useful. For example top mounted wah or volume pedals that You might want to use on the floor, off the pedalboard. For this purpose, this cable is good. I also find it useful, when I want to have a single pedal on top of a small practice board (going from pedal to amp input) or if i want to temporarily have a pedal before my pedalboard (for example looper to tweak the sounds on the pedal).
It's a great cable, but it is useful in specific circumstances.
