I have two guitars with the TBX Tone Control. Both have humbucking pickups and having that extra boost of top end is a godsend. These are a little tricky to install so if you don't solder then take it to someone who can.If you like the idea of a passive unit that gives you a nice top boost this well worth the money.

Good pot, bad caps
Samtt 12.03.2020
I really love the function of this thing and it works really well. The problem are the stock cap and resistor. The cap's legs are really really really short and the resistor doesn't do much. I personally wired it like a PTB circuit, which works a hundred times better

for that ringing strat tone
Selçuk 19.03.2015
As it is known a strat should sound like a ringing bell. This 1 megohm tone pot does that job.
I used it in my 1995 American strat. It was oem. Now I am building a strat and I wanted that ringing bell tone. That is why I purchased this TBX tone control. In the half way it is the tone pot we know. If you turn it to the end the sound of the single coil pick up gets brighter and there is that ringing bell tone.
I recommend this pot for those who needs a brighter and perfect strat tone on their 3 single coil strat.

Why isn't this a standard thing
Stuie 29.01.2022
Instantly transform any guitar or basses tonal palate, from dark to expanded this covers the lot, plus if you own Strat it'll beef up to woman tone or if you own a PJ add some chorus and whack this thing up to 10 for very very close duff tone
