Fantastic Upgrade
DonSchlup 06.02.2021
Bought it to upgrade my Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster, and it did not disappoint. Only had to screw it in, setup the guitar to my liking, and then it's as much wobbly goodness as I desire! A fantastic option for whoever's looking for a proper Fender Offset trem with that very useful little button (which is recommended to deal with string breakage, maintaining the same tension, but I use it to guarantee that my Kevin Shields-style dives won't go up in pitch).

As far as I have used it, there are no cons, other than I had to get a trem arm along with it, as my original Squier one did not fit. Not a big deal, but still made me wait a bit until I could try it for real.

Oh, it also shines like a freaking diamond. Puuurty stuff.

Best replacement you can get for this price!

I put it on a SQ Jaguar. Comparing to the stock tremolo, this one is machined better. Edges inside the tremolo are smoother comparing to the original SQ tremolo.

The other obvious advantage is the locking button. It helps a lot during a tuning or string change. The nut that holds the tremolo arm loosened up a little over time (couple months). So, I am not sure how reliable that part is.

It is easier to get and cheaper comparing to other alternatives. If the setup is right it works perfectly and holds the tuning very well - considering the nut is well polished/lubricated and the tuning machines are good enough.

t
solid upgrade - recommended
trembarra 23.06.2020
I bought this as an upgrade to the Player series Tremolo on my Fender Jaguar. It is a more solid build, fits perfectly in replacement and has the locking system that the Player Series doesn't. i purchased this with the trem bar and the unit together is streets ahead in terms of use and stability.

Everything that I hoped for
Madalin-Adrian 03.04.2023
Yes, the trem arm stays tightly in place, does not fall off or make scraping noises! Overall, the unit does not vibrate or rattle needlessly. Honestly, it's better than I expected and a perfect upgrade for a Squier CV offset.
My Jaguar is finally happy!
