I got these to go on my custom Fender guitar and they didnt disappoint. They look perfect for the period i was going for and slotted straight into the predrilled holes on the head stock. I had them fitted in 2 minutes and the quality of the tuning mechanism is the best of all my guitars, nice and smooth and precise, very useful on strats. First time going with Fender parts and now know why everyone loves them, they live up to the hype. Cant find any faults with them so far.

Classico Fantastico! A head above the rest!
Ally Kracker! 19.04.2023
Over the last few years I’ve been buying Fender guitars that have Kluson style machine heads and my models with the sealed cast metal F stamped Ping machines felt just “wrong” as the Ping feel cramped and the buttons are too close together. I was happy to discover the Classic Gear drop in vintage style and Thomann had the best price. These heads are simple to install because they have the exact same two prongs that fit the instrument that use the Ping. No drilling or bushings are needed like the regular Kluson style units. It’s a win win and now my 2007 Highway One Tele feels exactly the way I want it. I would recommend these any day over Ping or locking tuners. No ugly string ends lurking on the head to jab your fingers, just beautiful vintage style for a great price with gorgeous chrome butter bean buttons. And with an 18:1 ration they’re accurate and work exceptionally well. Get them today, your guitar will thank you for it!

Vintage look in minutes
DutchTeletubbie 11.02.2021
These tuners are new in my opinion. I saw them first on the American Performer Telecaster. They are new because there are no screws in between the tuners, like the other Fender or perhaps Kluson Vintage tuners.
Most American and Mexican made Necks will have 2 smaller holes next to the main peg hole and the 2 positioning pins fit those perfectly. So, it is easy to change out your standard tuners for these.
I replaced staggered tuners (Low E and E stems were longer) with these and I had no tuning problems.
My advice: do a bit of homework to see if your neck is ready for these. If it is, the change takes just a few minutes.
The price Thomann charges is a fair price in my opinion, and they of course arrived quickly. So, well pleased with my purchase.

Good alternative, great compatibility

Not wanting to drill into my american standard strat, these tuners did the trick. Same split tuner shaft for easy restringing without the fuzz of old style bushings.
