Why I got a set of SPS-bags:
I wanted cases/bags that are solid/rigid and don't collapse on me when I'm trying to feed a drum to them. I wanted proper shoulder straps and lining on the inside and I needed them to be quick to open.
SPS does all that. Perfect solution when you yourself are the one packing, carrying and transporting the drums. The Handle is the handle of all handles. Quality is top notch.

These are maybe not for throwing the drums in the back of a van/tour bus with a bunch of flight cases.
I wish these had an extra pocket on top for heads etc. The snare bags do have that.

Die Gewa SPS Taschen sind wirklich besser als jedes Case. Durch die hohe Verarbeitung und eine wirklich sehr sehr gute Polsterung (die nicht fusselt oder staubt) sind die Trommeln sehr gut geschützt.

Die Unterseite der Tasche ist mit einer Gummischicht überzogen, dadurch kann auch mal beim Laden in Schnee und Eis die Bag auf den Boden vor den PKW/LKW gestellt werden. Bisher haben die Taschen auch einen kurzen Regen gut überstanden. Waren sofort wieder trocken.

Die Tragegriffe sind sehr gut gepolstert und so sind auch schwere Kessel gut zu tragen. Der Schultergurt ist recht lang und so können auch Größere Menschen die Taschen bequem über Schultern tragen. Die Gurte selbst sind sehr stabil und mit ebenso stabilen Haken an der Tasche befestigt (und auch leicht abzunehmen). Die Schulterpolsterauflage ist sehr bequem.

Die Reißverschlüsse sind leichtgängig und funktionieren völlig hakelfrei. Schön an den Taschen ist, daß sie so steif sind (durch eingearbeitete Kunststoffplatten in den Seiten) daß man jede Trommel einfach hineinstellen kann, ohne an der Tasche zu ziehen oder jemanden anderen zu bitten die Tasche auf zu halten. Nähte und Verarbeitung sind allererste Sahne!

Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Taschen stinken am Anfang fürchterlich! Also 2 oder 3 Tage in offenem Zustand lüften (auf dem überdachten Balkon, in der Garage, etc). Danach ist der unangenehme Geruch jedoch Geschichte.

The Gewa SPS bags are really better than any case. The drums are very well protected thanks to the high level of workmanship and really, really good padding (which doesn't produce lint or dust). The bottom of the bag is covered with a rubber layer, which means that the bag can be placed on the ground in front of the car/truck when loading in snow and ice. So far the bags have survived even a short rain well. Were dry again immediately. The carrying handles are very well padded, making it easy to carry even heavy kettles. The shoulder strap is quite long, so even taller people can carry the bags comfortably over their shoulders. The straps themselves are very sturdy and are attached to the bag with equally sturdy hooks (and also easy to remove). The shoulder padding is very comfortable. The zippers run smoothly and work completely without any snags. What's nice about the bags is that they are so stiff (due to plastic panels built into the sides) that you can simply place any drum in them without pulling on the bag or asking someone else to hold the bag open. Seams and workmanship are top notch! The only point of criticism: the bags smell terrible at the beginning! So ventilate it open for 2 or 3 days (on the covered balcony, in the garage, etc.).
