A handy controller for people who like to travel or occasionally host house parties. I didn't like working with Serato Light at all, so I successfully used the controller with Virtual DJ. There is a lack of a full-fledged equalizer, but for the given cost and size, this can not be expected.

Ich gebe nur 4 Punkte weil beim ersten Gerät leider die Mini-Klinke einen "Wackler" hatte. Hatte mehrere Adapter ausprobiert, sodass ich ausschließen konnte das es nur an einem Kabel liegt. Ich konnte das Gerät natürlich ohne Probleme zurückschicken. Das zweite Gerät war dann i.O.
Die Performance ist echt super! Genial ist der High Pass und Low Pass Filter sowie der Bass Regler perfekt für House Musik. Mit der Shift-Taste lassen sich noch mehr Funktionen freischalten. Ich nutze das Mischpult mit der Serato DJ Pro Version als Back Up und zur Musik Vorbereitung: CUE Point etc. Das Mischpult wäre ein absoluter "Alleskönner" wenn es noch ein Load Button für die Tracks und Browse Knopf für die Library hätte.
Ich will nicht kleinlich sein .... aber der Serato Sticker war nicht, wie im Lieferumfang beschrieben dabei.

I only give 4 points because the mini jack on the first device unfortunately had a wobble. I tried several adapters so I could rule out that it was just one cable. Of course I was able to send the device back without any problems. The second device was OK. The performance is really great! The high pass and low pass filter as well as the bass control are ingenious and perfect for house music. You can use the shift key to unlock even more functions. I use the mixer with the Serato DJ Pro version as a back-up and for music preparation: CUE Point etc. The mixer would be an absolute "all-rounder" if it had a load button for the tracks and a browse button for the library. I don't want to be petty... but the Serato sticker wasn't included as described in the delivery.

Un Dj set portable d’entrée de gamme. Pour le prix n'attendez pas la lune mais les fonctionnalités sont très correctes (je voulais tester le Djing et le scratch). Pour le prix je suis conquis il y a vraiment de quoi s'amuser...
Pour avoir testé également le 'Compact' d'Hercules il y a des différences :
le Starlight propose le contrôle du pitch, il y a une prise casque, un bandeau led sous le contrôleur,important aussi : le feeling des jog wheels, légèrement plus petites (moins confortables en scratch) et le fait de pouvoir arrêter le son en laissant le doigt sur la wheel (pause). Les 8 boutons pour les effets/cue qui sont caoutchouc (+mou) sur le compact et plastique (dur) sur le starlight.
Ma recommandation : si vous voulez juste faire du scratch le feeling du compact sera probablement plus adapté, sinon prenez le starlight :)
En soft j'ai testé djuced et serrato(lite). Jai préféré djuced plus complet en gratuit, et interface sympa (ça c'est subjectif) et surtout la possibilité d'utiliser 2 contrôleurs(4 jog wheels) en remappant les contrôleurs (fichier config)
demande quelques recherches ;p mais si vous posez la question : oui ça fonctionne

An entry-level portable DJ set. For the price, don't expect the moon but the functionalities are very correct (I wanted to test the DJing and scratching). For the price I'm won over, there's really something to enjoy... Having also tested the 'Compact' from Hercules there are differences: the Starlight offers pitch control, there is a headphone jack, an LED strip under the controller, also important: the feeling of the jog wheels, slightly smaller (less comfortable when scratching) and the fact of being able to stop the sound by leaving your finger on the wheel (pause). The 8 buttons for effects/cue which are rubber (+soft) on the compact and plastic (hard) on the starlight. My recommendation: if you just want to scratch the feeling of the compact will probably be more suitable, otherwise take the starlight :) In software I tested djuced and serrato(lite). I preferred djuced, more complete in free, and nice interface (that's subjective) and above all the possibility of using 2 controllers (4 jog wheels) by remapping the controllers (config file) requires some research ;p but if you ask question: yes it works

Es un buen dispositivo para hacer mezclas y scratches sencillos, pero el crossfader tiene un espacio muerto terrible (más de 5 mm para abrir, 3 mm para cerrar) y los jogs son pequeñísimos. Recomendado para quien quiere empezar a mezclar o tener un backup (ojo, solo desbloquea Serato DJ Lite y Djuced), no recomendado para los que scratchean.
It's a good device for simple mixing and scratching, but the crossfader has terrible dead space (over 5mm open, 3mm close) and the jogs are tiny. Recommended for those who want to start mixing or have a backup (be careful, it only unlocks Serato DJ Lite and Djuced), not recommended for those who scratch.
