I bought this as my original bridge off my Jazzica now had grooves in it from the strings and many years of playing.
I began to notice the sound wasn't clean anymore and sounded like the top E was catching the frets somewhere.
Investing in a new bridge did the trick.
My Jazzica now plays and sounds like it should do.
The bridge looks and is made like the original. Excellent in appearance, but this one allows me to get a slightly lower action than my old one, due to the adjustment features being better.
My original bridge would never allow this, because the studs were slightly longer than the holes in the bridge they went into, so the bridge always sat slightly higher than where the adjustment wheels turned right down to.
I live in the U.K.
The price of the bridge is great value at the Thomann price, but now the U.K has left the E.U. and anyone buying out of the E.U will find it slightly more expensive, because of import tax.
The whole price came to about £52.00 in the finish.
But for a guitar crafted this well; it's worth it, if you want your Jazzica to sound right.
