Not bad but less then expected
vlvlvl 02.01.2022
Finally I have my first Ibanez.
And I expected more to be honest. Real color more green and not so good as on photo. Neck pickup have slightly damaged plastic cheek. This is steel beautiful guitar but need to some nut and strings height adjustments and frets polish. Volume knob too easy to rotate and not concentric for axis of rotation. Also shape of body have some not round edges and it not so comfortable if you not sitting straight and just chill with guitar. I guess it feature of all RG series.
I have 7 string Harley Benton R-457 for comparison and you know what? At some point HB beat Ibanez but HB have 1/3 of Ibanez price. I definitely prefer HB R-457 body shape.

Stunning guitar, but it needed some work
Matt96 04.01.2023
Very comfortable to play and very nice sound, i have to admit though i had to spend 1 hour cleaning and polishing the frets with steel wool cause there was quite a lot of oxidation. I did't expect it to be amazing right out of the box, some adjustments is always required. But oxidated frets are a big no no in my book. Anyways, once i solved that problem i just adjusted the action and it felt amazing to play.

Breathtaking

Ok, first of all, it took me sometime to plug this in. Reason been its absolutely stunning. Incredible burl finish and the colour is stunning. Really sat and admired for ages.
When I plugged in, I was not disappointed at all, wasn't sure how these pickups would sound but I'm nicely impressed. Tuning holds extremely well, intonation was set perfect for the 10's that came on it.
All in all, this guitar is a steal !!

Ibanez RG421PB-CHF Review
doubleh 28.09.2021
This guitar is absolutely class, especially for such an affordable price, 400$. Ibanez proves once again how reliable they are. The guitar came in perfect shape, wrapped nicely with no damages, which is impressive considering the long flight delivery that it had to pass. In terms of the sound, it is my humble opinion that no guitar is more versatile than an Ibanez, and the RG series is the perfect place to demonstrate that, with a level of affordability that doesn't reduce the guitar's quality. Would definitely recommend.
