Dank Thomann hatte ich die Möglichkeit, mehrere Mundstücke zu probieren. Auf dem Keilwerth Tenorsax habe ich bisher ein Berg Larsen 105 in Gebrauch. Unter vier Mundstücken (Guardala u.ä.) bin ich beim Jody Jazz DV8* hängen geblieben. Die Ansprache ist sehr leicht, der Sound prägnant und kräftig. Tiefen und Obertöne sind problemlos zu spielen. Ich habe gefunden, wonach ich gesucht habe, der Preis dafür ist allerdings ziemlich hoch.

le bonheur de trouver un bec expressif, brillant, et facile d'émission, après une longue quête passant par les Lebayle, Syos, Dukkof...Jody Espina a réussit à contourner la difficulté des harmoniques intempestives d'un bec à haut plafond en évidant une partie de la table, quelle trouvaille !!! Finis les couinements parasites dans les aiguës et enfin un grand confort pour les suraiguës.
