This is a good keyboard stand that is obviously well made, but it's worth pointing out a couple of things before prospective buyers take the plunge with this.

1:- Small mono synths and keyboards of less than 26.378" in width will be too small for this stand as the width of the arms are not fully adjustable.

2:- There is some lateral movement when playing. Your Keys will wobble if you play remotely hard on this.

The height adjustability of this stand is great though and although there is wobble, weirdly it does not feel too unstable. Very quick set up time fore this stand too.

A
Worst stand i have ever owned
Anonymous 03.12.2015
Had this for 3 years, was very well looked after, always laid flat in my car, was onstage recently, had 2 keyboards on it, the stand collapsed and keyboards ended up on the floor, K&M sent me a warranty replacement, but i sold it immediately, if your a tall keyboard player, this is NOT for you, i wouldn't buy another K&M keyboard stand again, though their 18950 and 18953 stand is excellent, i dont recommend a Spider Pro to anyone, it looks good, but thats about it, the collapsing also happened to my friends stand in Dubai!

super versatile

I have used these for many years now. It handles large weighted keys but still relatively compact and quick to pack away. I love the way there is room on the floor by your feet for pedals and controllers and the added laptop stand on the top is very handy. I always get comments from other band members about how great it looks on stage.

S
Coolest

This is still one of the coolest stands out there in my opinion. I have tested many double tier stands and this one has the best looks and is one of the more stable ones. Especially for the top tier, it is rock solid even when you extend the arms fully. The bottom tier however is slightly wobbly sideways. I have experimented with different keyboards, stage pianos and an ironing board and they all wobble. It does not affect playing really unless you are going for some sort of speed record hammering session.

The rest of the construction is solid and stable. And heavy, more than you would think. After using this on stage for a while with both tiers full I have now decided to only use the stand in my studio. For use on stage I would recommend a well programmed synthesizer with a soft case and a simple lightweight single tier stand. Unless you have roadies, then go meshuggah!!!
