Would not buy it again

I bought this cymbal when I was starting to learn to play the drums. But quickly I recognized that it pays off to invest a little more money. Drum cymbals should not be made out of brass but rather they should be made out of bronze. Bronze cymbals create a sound that is much more powerful and a lot clearer than a brass cymbal ever could. In the meanwhile I do not use this drum cymbal anymore. Also a drum beginner quickly recognizes the difference between good and not so good cymbals. So I got to say I can not recommend this cymbal.

Before Meinl I used to play with other brands, but I wasn't quite happy with the sound until I found Meinl, until then I decided to invest in a new set of cymbals and this was one was the perfect one for me!

I bought this along with the 18" crash and they sound amazing and better than in the recordings. I am very pleased by the sound. As for the quality, it lasted one year only, it cracked although I took care of them and hit them properly.

When I opened the box I was impressed with the look of the work on the cymbal taking consideration of price compared to cymbals of the same size it ain't perfect but, once you've played it, you will understand your really getting a great deal more than anyone else offers.
Great for indoor playing no lingering overtone, just what I needed,. So I got the 18" too it's the best cymbals I've bought that have not cost a fortune but do the good for home recording.
