Great value for money!

I bought this item 8 years ago (2009 - yeah...late review...I was busy) when I wanted a kit larger than my skill (who doesn't right?) and it is still going rock solid.

If you're looking for a nice, sturdy and reliable arm and clamp without the price tag of the top brands look no further.

The clamp is pretty solid with a nice chrome finish same as the arm. You can easily place it in any existing cymbal stand that you have, plus you can pound your way "Hulk" style with your biggest drumming rage and it won't move or even flinch out of place.

The joint between arm and clamp is also pretty sturdy and solid.

The actual arm has a nice build just like a top brand and also in smooth chrome finish which is rust free and easy to clean (After those gig stand up poses between songs while you hang to the stand looking to nail the chick in the front row). The only downside is the felts which are quite thin.

In all seriousness it is in my opinion the best value for money cymbal arm and clamp out there beating quite a few of the other brands options.

Pros - Great value for money, great build, solid

Cons - Thin felts

P
Perfect for the job
Paul4175 16.11.2017
Got this to hold a 10? splash cymbal on my daughters drum kit, rather than using another full stand , does the job perfectly and can be manoeuvred well. The clamp is a lot better than I was expecting for the price and has been in use for a few months now and not worked loose. The supplied cymbal bushings worked really well and don?t feel a need to change them. ( using with Zildjian S splash, full kit is an old refurbed session pro with Remo heads and now using all Millenium stands so clamp may not be as secure on a different brand stand) . The clamp arm looks good and does the job. I?ve only got experience of setting this up on a kit that doesn?t get moved so can?t comment on how this will hold up for a gigging drummer but if your kit stays pretty much in one place or for home/practice or beginner use I can highly recommend it.

C
Cheap but It shows
Cartmin 11.04.2018
At first glance it seems like good value, but I find that the tube slips in the pivot mount when played and that?s with a small e cymbal. It doesn?t have a knurled arm so the clamp can?t grip very well.
The cymbal mounting thread is only 6mm not 8mm like the norm, I found this out as the nasty plastic retaining collar that it comes with stripped within a week.
Spend a bit more and buy the Gibraltar grabber arm.....this one is for the spares draw, not sure for what purpose though.

h
Useful for small cymbals
healy866 08.02.2022
I use this arm for my 12inch trash stack. It holds it very well, and I have had no problems with it coming loose from the cymbal stand. However, it does move a bit if you're playing hard or repeatedly. Nothing major, but enough to notice that it moved. For the price it is definitely worth a little movement though. Easy to use and holds the cymbal very well
