P
Best alto stand ever
Paul793 03.11.2018
Over the years I've tried many different sax stands, and whilst it's fairly easy to get a decent stand for a tenor or baritone, I've always been disappointed with alto stands because in every one I've had, the horizontal lower support which the sax rests on just above the bottom-bend is at the same level as the closed C-sharp pad. Consequently the sax never sits "square-on" in the stand because the proximity of the C-sharp pad or it's protective guard causes the sax to twist to the opposing side when it's on the stand, thereby rendering it quite unstable. The advantage of this stand is that the lower support is "V" shaped, and this enables the alto to sit absolutely square. The upper support just below the bell is also an improvement on most other stands I've tried, and the whole thing just looks and feels much more stable when it is in use. It doesn't fold down small enough to fit inside the bell of the sax like a lot of other stands do, but that's a small price to pay.

LC
The best!
Luís C. 13.06.2015
I have been searching for a stand as good as this one for a long time and I finally found it. Before, since I go to a lot of different gigs, it was very difficult to find a good stable stand for my saxophone and I always ended up leaving it on the ground or in a chair which can damage the instrument pretty badly.
I started to experiment some stands my friends had but none of them were steady or portable enough to go on the trip with me so I looked online and I found this one.
This stand is the best because it is very portable (you can close it) and it is also very stable which is good for when I'm on the road.
So, thank you very much for this stand that made my life as a musician easier!

T
Handy Sax stand
Tooney 31.05.2019
I am glad that I have my sax stand, because otherwise it would not be possible to just put him safely away when I need to have my hands and freedom to move swiftly around for any reason.
It is also very easy to put up and very sturdy and stable, so your sax can simply be in no better hands (except your own off course)
