To be perfectly honest, I haven't had much experience with different snare wires. My snare (Yamaha Steel Snare) had the same wire for the last 23 years and the few other snares that I happenned to play over the years were not mine, so I didn't really have the chance to compare.
So I might not be able to really compare the Millenium wire to other more expensive ones, nevertheless I am really happy with the result I got.
I would definitely buy it again.

The end plates are profiled to flush the wires.
The soldering is finished smooth.
The wires were straight and tight when delivered, and havent had any unwanted stretch or deformation since i put them on.
I get enough sensitivity out of them, yet they are not harsh, but a bit rounded in sound.
Good product.
I would say amazing deal, considering the price.
