Stereo looper with simple operation

The Mooer Stereo Looper X2 offers up to five hours of recording capacity, stereo inputs and outputs, and 77 memory slots as well as editor software, providing ample tools to capture ideas, spark creativity, or prepare songs for live performance. Encased in a sturdy metal housing, the Stereo Looper X2 features seven slots that each have a dedicated LED indicator and make organising song structures remarkably easy. Additional fade-in and fade-out options for loops, along with an auto-record function triggered by the detection of an input signal, ensure smooth performance whether practising at home, rehearsing with a band, or performing live on stage.

Easy and intuitive controls

Compared to Mooer's Micro series, the X2 line is noticeably larger, and this is reflected in the clean layout of the Stereo Looper X2's control panel. The "Fade" function allows loops to fade out over a period of up to ten seconds, while the "Threshold" control adjusts the input level that activates the auto-record feature. The "Play" knob manages the playback volume of recorded loops, and the "Rec" control sets the level for the currently recorded signal. The "Song" knob selects from 11 banks, each with seven slots, and these can be chosen and saved with the "Save" button. Seven LEDs on the side of the unit indicate which slot is in use, and the two soft-click footswitches offer sensitive control, and additional features can be managed via the 3.5mm mini-jack input, allowing hands-free operation while playing.

A creative sidekick

Loopers have become an essential part of countless pedalboards and rigs, and the Mooer Stereo Looper X2 offers much more than just simple loop recording and playback. With its five-hour recording capacity and smart organisation of loop slots following a song structure, it is a valuable tool for creative work. Thanks to stereo signal processing, the robust unit is not limited to string instruments like guitar or bass - synthesizers and many other line-level stereo instruments can also benefit from its intuitive design and high-quality sound without any loss of sound quality. Additionally, the editor software allows for easy management of slots and loops, as well as the import and export of audio material directly from a computer.

About Mooer

Mooer is based in the Chinese city of Shenzhen and has been making products for guitarists since 2010, which include compact single pedals through to multi-effects units and compact amplifiers. The company initially produced a range of mini pedals before making perhaps its most significant breakthrough in 2016 with the sophisticated Ocean Machine delay pedal, which was designed in collaboration with Devin Townsend. Mooer's product range now also includes solutions that feature amp modelling, IR-based speaker simulation, and matching equalisers, and the company's focus remains firmly on the use of digital technology.

Song prep for live performances

Whether used as a creative partner for experimenting and composing at home or as the central tool for a solo performance, the Mooer Stereo Looper X2 is highly versatile and its design introduces new ways to make operation as simple as possible. The auto-record function ensures a clean start to loops, while the fade-out option opens up new possibilities for creative expression. The extensive storage capacity provides plenty of space for hundreds, if not thousands, of loops or entire songs. The Stereo Looper X2, though not primarily focused on live looping, is particularly well-suited for preparing songs and shaping them with a live sound before taking them to the stage.

Q
Loops müssen zum Speichern gestoppt werden
Qeuela 29.03.2023

Man muss vorher speichern.
