For the perfect setup

Every professional and hobby guitar tech will be all too familiar with this situation: "Where the heck did I put that 5mm Allen key? Or do I need an inch-sized SAE key? I'm not sure I even have one...". Luckily, this need not ever happen again thanks to the MusicNomad Starter Kit, which comprises all the necessary gear for setting up, testing, and measuring guitars. The Starter Kit Bundle offers no less than three comprehensive tool and gauge sets in compact, robust cases at an unbeatable price compared to their individual price tags if purchased separately.

The right tool for every guitar part

The first component of the Starter Kit Bundle is the Premium Guitar Tech Truss Rod Wrench Set, which offers the most common (plus a few special) tools for truss rod adjustments, including Allen keys in metric and inch sizes as well as the famous 5/16" hex nut wrench that fits Gibson guitars and similar models. Additionally, the Precision Gauge Setup Set comprises all the measuring devices that are required for making highly precise adjustments, such as the truss rod feeler gauge, which is absolutely essential for adjusting the neck relief. All this is perfectly complemented by the Premium Guitar Tech Screwdriver and Wrench Set, which is packed with just about every key and wrench for screws and nuts of all sizes.

Professional tools – professional results

The MusicNomad Starter Kit Bundle is the ideal solution for professional repair shops and touring guitar techs who are looking for robust premium-quality tools for professional use and have the required expert knowledge. The radius gauges for measuring the nut slots, for example, are primarily intended for specialists who know how to file nut slots. But it is also possible for ambitious beginners to learn the ropes if they are willing to invest some of their time, for example by viewing the comprehensive range of video tutorials offered for each individual product on the highly recommended MusicNomad website.

About MusicNomad

MusicNomad was founded by Rand Rognlien, a specialist for automotive paint care products and a passionate hobby musician. When he launched the MusicNomad web portal in 2008 to build a network for himself and his fellow musicians along the lines of Facebook, he needed a strategy to raise the necessary funds. That was when Rand's extensive professional expertise came into play and he started to develop professional instrument care products for all kinds of materials and surfaces, from lacquer and metal to bare wood, which he soon complemented by a selection of special tools. Since then, MusicNomad has become a household name in music communities in over 50 countries worldwide and is the preferred choice of numerous renowned guitar manufacturers, such as Taylor Guitars and Martin Guitars.

A brief guide to happiness

Guitar manufacturers and repair shops usually provide their clients with instruments that are perfectly set up for immediate playability. But later on, a guitar or bass player may find that the wood of their instrument has shifted slightly due to being sensitive to changes in air humidity or temperature, or that they simply prefer a different playing style or string action, which of course requires the instrument to be readjusted. Users need nothing more than the tools from MusicNomad's Starter Kit Bundle, good lighting conditions, a careful hand, and an even, soft surface to work through the following steps: Check the string action on the nut, file the nut slots, check and adjust the neck relief at the 12th fret, check and adjust the string action at the 12th fret according to personal preference, and finally adjust the compensation. And voila – their guitar is set up perfectly and ready to go.

Sehr beruhigend

WTF !

Sinon, c'est quand même utile.
