OK, but ensure it's what you really need
Nebul 02.10.2019
It looks and feels OK, but time will tell whether the bag will be able to take the weight of the loaded pedal board.

EDIT1: The pressure of the frame on the zip in the corners of the bag when you carry it is too large, and the zip is now damaged in both lower corners after only about ten rehearsals. You need to make some plastic inserts to spread the weight and protect the zips. And you need to do it before you start using the bag. Don't wait until your zips are broken.

EDIT2: After explaining about the above issue, I was sent a new bag free of charge. Hats off to Thomann and Palmer. Superb service.

The supplied elastic to hold a power supply was useless (it fell apart the first time I tried to use it). I had to use elastic bands and metal wire instead. Not a big deal, but does impact on how you feel about your purchase.

I upgraded from a small 65cm x 35cm bag to this (85cm x 45cm) bag. I doesn't seem much on paper, but the increase in size and weight is substantial. So be careful that it's not too big for your needs. When you have to carry your guitar, amp, and this to a rehearsal which is 800m away from your parking spot, you will regret that you didn't take up the flute! I am now trying to consider which pedals I can do without so I can move to a smaller pedalboard again!

EDIT 3: I never did move to a smaller pedalboard - I'm just more careful where I park! Sometimes I'll take just one multi-effects to rehearsals instead of the whole thing.

I have been using pedal boards for a long time. I've mostly used the case ones but after gigging a lot these boxes became dented and damaged along with being messy.

With this Palmer board I can hook up and my pedals but also keep it nice and tidy by doing all the wiring underneath.

The board is also comes with an extremely impessive gig bag which is high in quality and well padded to product your goods.

Also featured is a generous amount of velcro which means you can dive right in to getting your board set up.

The set also includes an allen key which allows you to adjust the crossbars.

The only issue I had was my power supply unit was a little small for underneath and kept moving but with a little adjustment of the crossbars and some cardboard it all worked out just fine. I can't wait to take this on the road.

This boards rivals any other and is highly durable. I would really recommended trying this before splashing out on something that does the same job.

Velcro not great and wrong side of velcro on the board.

Nice pedalboard for the money, it is better to buy this than build one yourself. The bag is nice, but a hardcase would have been better. The only bad thing is the velcro. The glue is not very strong. You need to clean the surface of the pedal with a degreaser like isopropyl alcohol. especially large heavy pedals like whammy or wah may become detached and damage the paint of other pedals during transport.

The soft side of the velcro is on the board, so that means that it is harder to clean with a vacuum cleaner when dusty or dirty. That also means that you have to apply the hard and sharp side on your pedals. So you will scratch your skin while applying the velcro. You can also use a blunt metal object to press velcro on the pedal but then the velcro gets damaged. Not smart design. Soft side of velcro on the pedal would be much better.

Great pedalboard hands down.
markusb111 27.01.2021
I bought this for my Helix LT, Boss RC500 looper and a Boss FS6 footswitch. I wasn't sure about the Velcro provided but it keeps even the Helix LT affixed. The soft carry case is very sturdy and handles all the weight easily. The slats are adjustable up and down but all my stuff fit perfectly. It's a bit tricky applying the Velcro as I had to remove the rubber feet and align the provided Velcro strips with the slats. They give you a very LARGE roll of Velcro and the other side of the strip is already stuck very well on the aluminum slats.
