i bought this gigbag about 1,5 month ago but only yesterday i got it.
i bought it because i wanted to transfer my new fender Starcaster bass from the USA to Europe and it was the only choise i ve found while i was searching internet that would fit this bass for sure and in a reasonable price. so it came to me in a cardboard box with the bass inside with a 10+ hour flight. the bass and the bag arrived without a single scratch!
this gigbag is just perfect! durable and very well made. protects the instument very well. its thick enough and deep so the bass can rest perrfectly inside. it has many prockets in small or biger dimensions that can hold more things and equipment than what someone usually needs. the interior is very smooth and well padded. the zip very good quality. velcro where is needed something that makes it even more practical.
if i had to name a negative this would be the backstraps. they look short and maybe it wont be easy to carry it on your back.also it may not fit a long scale bass with big headstock.
if you intent to make long distance trips and often think again. but if you want a bag/case to keep your bass safe at home or carry it on your back or in a car/train/buss/boat etc and since there are not many options of gigbags/hardshell cases for semihollow basses this one is the best choise you have! highly recomended.

One of the very few options for semi acoustic bass
neepheid 14.09.2015
I was looking for a gig bag for a couple of semi acoustic basses which I own(ed) because I don't like to drag hard cases to the gigs (usually have my own transport so no need to protect them from the rigours of the band van). This is the only option I have found so far (apart from the more expensive Rockbag for semi bass). It is a high quality item on the whole - I felt like the bass inside was well protected, good number of pockets for set lists and other such items and the zip felt strong and ran smooth. On the down side, it was a little awkward to carry on the back, seems like the straps are a little short - if you try to carry it on a single shoulder (as I have done with many a gig bag in the past) the top of the bass will tend to swing around - probably due to the reduced weight at the bottom (being semi acoustic basses) and the closeness of the points where the straps are attached.
Minor complaint aside, it's the best/only option at this price point which I could see and it will keep your bass as safe as any gig bag out there, so on the whole pretty good.

i honestly didn't realise this was made by warwick!!!
completely dead fab, enough padding to make it safe to carry or have the bass sat around the house safely, big pockets for charts or an ipad, smaller ones for bits & pieces.
