Too soft sound on cymbals...
Bamo007 13.04.2017
I found them quite good but they are not loud enough on cymbals. I compared them with Vic Firth and Rohema is a bit softer. An experienced drummer friend recommended me to Vic Firth Live Wires brushes, they are a bit expensive (42 Euro) but they have very small balls on top of each brush "thread" and exactly these small balls make them sound louder on cymbals. Exactly what I needed for play really soft at home. I tried them on snares as well and found them sounds very nice!

M
JB 1 brushes, good product
Michael8655 26.04.2015
These are very well made and designed brushes, I was very impressed with the adjustable rubber bands used to enable the brushes to be made slimmer in profile.

The only problem I had is the balance, for me, was not quite right, but by shortening the wood handle I was able to make them the correct length. I also had to do this with another make of brush so it's probably just me that's unusual.

Altogether very good value.

Great playability

Works good for jazz, but also slightly louder styles like folk/country. The rubber between the wood and brushes does get a little messed up, but that’s only cosmetic.

My new best friends!
BigJust 11.08.2015
I am loving these brushes. I had been using a variety of brushes and was still searching for that 'just right' sound. These are it. They sit comfortably in the hand and give a lovely sound as they glide over the drum head whilst being light too. The wood used is solid (hardwood) and unlacquered so they have a good grip. Even on the hi-hats they give a lovely rattle.
