This is a quality stand, double-braced hardware and large footplate. I bought it to use with the Roland Hi-Hat from a VAD370 kit and it works perfectly. The only problem is if you are a hi-hat stepper like I am and raise/lower your foot, the stand wobbles on the two back legs; I have tried adjusting it but to no avail. It makes it look like a cheap stand which it isn't which is disappointing.

This stand was just perfect for the Roland Digital hi-hat pad (VH-14D). It no longer has the problem of being too long. And it has a built-in noise damper.

Habe aufgrund des Preises sehr lange gezögert, diese Fußmaschine für mein hochpreisiges E-Drumset und die neue sündhaft teure aber geniale digitale Roland-Hihat anzuschaffen und es zunächst mit ebenso guten Konkurrenzprodukten probiert. Ich habe zähneknirschend dann doch das Roland gekauft, weil es einfach auch saugut verarbeitet ist und zuverlässig das tut, für das es eigentlich konzipiert wurde, nämlich Trittschall absorbieren. Man möchte ja schließlich weiterhin ein gutes Verhältnis zu den anderen Mitmietern im Hause behalten ;-) Einzig mit den beiden Feststell-Vierkantschrauben hatte ich anfangs so meine Schwierigkeiten, weshalb das Produkt beinahe zurückging: Man muss diese wirklich nach dem Ausklappen und Einstecken ganz ganz fest dran drücken und dann fest anziehen, sonst hat dieses Gelenk Spiel und die HiHat Maschine wackelt und steht instabil. Das darf ja nicht sein. Aber wenn man das herausgekriegt hat, wackelt nichts mehr. Dennoch haben Maschinen mit drei Beinen deutlich mehr Stabilität, aber brauchen eben auch mehr Platz.

Because of the price, I hesitated for a long time to buy this pedal for my high-priced e-drum set and the new outrageously expensive but ingenious digital Roland hi-hat and first tried it with equally good competitor products. I then grudgingly bought the Roland, because it is simply also extremely well made and reliably does what it was actually designed for, namely absorbing footfall noise. After all, you want to keep a good relationship with the other tenants in the house ;-) I only had my problems with the two locking square screws at the beginning, which is why the product almost went back: You really have to tighten them very firmly after unfolding and inserting them Press it and then tighten it firmly, otherwise this joint will have play and the hi-hat machine will wobble and be unstable. That can't be. But once you figure that out, nothing wobbles anymore. Nevertheless, machines with three legs have significantly more stability, but also require more space.

Le produit est bon, avec la même technologie antidérapante que la pédale de GC RDH-100. Cependant, chez moi, le sol aux abords du charley n'est pas parfaitement plat et je n'ai pas encore trouvé le moyen de bien stabiliser le RDH-120 car seulement 2 pieds, le 3e étant la pédale. Donc probablement moins pratique qu'un vrai trépied. L'avantage reste cependant l'antidérapant qui est assez efficace... Pour ce qui est de la réponse du VH-10 aux mouvements de la pédale, c'est parfait !

The product is good, with the same anti-slip technology as the GC RDH-100 pedal. However, at home, the ground around the charley is not perfectly flat and I have not yet found a way to properly stabilize the RDH-120 because only 2 feet, the 3rd being the pedal. So probably less practical than a real tripod. The advantage, however, remains the non-slip which is quite effective... As for the response of the VH-10 to the movements of the pedal, it's perfect!
