A no frills modern day take on Leo Fenders precision bass .
The build quality is as good as any p- bass out there on the market , the overall feel, size and weight is perfect and it didn't need setting up !!
The sound in passive mode is right on the money , i think its worth spending the extra £354.00 if you were considering buying the Sandberg Electra vs4 cr , which retails around £610 .19 , i paid £963.34 for this bass !.

Perfect set up right out of the box. Fit and finish are great. Terrific playability and the two-band EQ is a nice option (the bass also has an active by-pass). The quality is easily on par with America Fender basses, if not better. A shout out to Thomann for their outstanding customer service and rapid delivery.

Ich bin einfach nur begeistert! Zwar bin ich kein EBass-Profi oder Veteran, jedoch kann ich im Vergleich zum Harley Benton für 100€ einfach nur sagen: Der Sandberg ist ein Porsche unter den Bässen. Perfekte Verarbeitung, mit Aktiv und Passiv Modus, generell liegt das Ding wunderschön in der Hand und der Sound ist spektakulär. Es findet sich ein Regler für Lautstärke, Treble und Bass, für den Passiv Modus zieht man den Lautstärkeregler leicht nach außen. Er ist typisch für Sandberg natürlich auch wunderbar leicht, aber ausgeglichen, keine Kopflastigkeit.
