Great cable for pedal boards
Millo777 19.06.2020
I normally use Sommer "The spirit" cable to wire rack effects units, but that cable is marginally too large for use on the pancake right angle jack plugs need for a pedal tray. hence I thought I'd try the Tricone.

Really nice cable to use when building leads for installation. still a quality cable with plenty of shielding, but the smaller diameter makes a big difference on a crowded pedal tray.

Surprisingly not sonic difference between this and the more expensive sommer cable when using for shorter cable runs.

I haven't tried a direct test on longer instrument to amp type cables so can't compare in that format.

For wiring pedal boards, racks etc I'd totally recommend this cable. Very impressed.

T
good quality, good price!
Ttren115 27.04.2018
jumped into soldering my own patch cables instead of working around specifically-sized stock ones. been a good while now (over a year). i've made quite a number of patch cables for myself and my band, as well as a couple of instrument cables, and i've yet to have any issue with any of them )that weren't caused by my shoddy amateur soldering!). initial impressions worried me a little as the cable seemed a little thin and flexible compared to, say, the fender cables i tended to use previously, but having given them a good long field test (quite rigorous, as i am perhaps less gentle with my cables than i ought to be) the build quality is solid and produce no issues sonically whatsoever. perfect buy!

love it!

I needed a really flexible cable for my complexed pedalboard. I believe this is the best cable you may use as a patch cable along with Hicon plugs, in my case. It really works, not only for me, but also for my friends, who are professional musicians.

SE
Can't fault it for the price
Steve E 09.08.2021
This cable is similar to the Van Damme classic instrument cable spec wise, but it has a softer rubbery feel and is more flexible. It seems to be slightly more prone to kinking if someone coils it badly or it is left in a weird position for a while. Other than that, it's easy to terminate, durable and nice to use, would happily buy more of it.
