So why 4 stars? The module has arrived with an SD card that wasn't working, so I had to buy a new one. Definitely a minor hiccup, but when you buy a new module, you'd expect it to work straight away. Apart form that, I'd recommend this module for anyone.

Intuitive!

No endless menu diving, everything is just one or two button presses away. Syncs perfectly to incoming clock and works perfectly with external midi gear via the included minijack to DINmidi cable.

Ein Sequenzer, unter vielen, mit Besonderheiten

Der Hermod macht Spaß. Er bietet 8 CV/Gate Spuren und zusätzlich 8 Midi Spuren. Das ist viel für einen Eurorack Sequencer.
Die Bedienung ist durchdacht, nicht unbedingt leicht, aber handhabbar. Das große Display unterstützt einen dabei gut. Leider ist das Display etwas matschig. Die Schrift wird nicht sonderlich scharf dargestellt. Es scheint sich um eine recht geringe Auflösung zu handeln.
Features hat er genug. Die Effekte sind toll. Man kann aus einer einzelnen Note eine Zufallsmelodie machen. Aber auch mit üblicher Eingabe von Noten ist das alles kein Problem. Man kann step by step oder auch live einspielen. Allerlei Nachbearbeitungen sind möglich. Auch polyphon ist kein Problem, aber da gehen einem schnell die Ausgänge weg. Das geht dann besser über Midi. Gibt ja genug polyphone Module mit TRS Midi in heutzutage. Sonst halt noch einen Midi->CV converter dazwischen hängen.
Er kann auch rein als Midi-CV Converter benutzt werden, was die Optionen erweitert. So kann man sein Eurorack von der DAW aus sequenzieren, wenn es mal sein muss. Das bieten nicht viele Sequenzer Module an (ich weis nur noch vom Westlich Performer, de ich auch besitze).
Alles in allem ein guter Sequenzer mit leichten Bedienmängeln.

Le Hermod+ est un monde à part entière. Les possibilités sont infinies (envoyer des séquences random ou écrites à d'autres modules, faire simplement le lien entre votre clavier midi et vos modules, moduler d'autres modules avec des effets internes...). Le seul point négatif à mon sens, c'est qu'il n'y a qu'un seul potentiomètre. C'est un coup à prendre, mais une fois que vous l'avez ca marche très bien.
