Swissonic SA 125

I bought this to use as a PA at an rc model car track (indoor warehouse). It is for a small club so budget was important, and this has really impressed me for the price.
It has everything you could need, 4 mic/line inputs with XLRs and jack inputs for all 4. It has AUX/CD in which I can use to connect to a timing computer (automatic announcements).
I used 6W bosch speakers on 100v line, which makes hooking it up very easy, and as there are some very long cable runs means you can use lighter speaker cable.
We had been using an old PA with a couple of horns which caused nothing but inaudiable echo in the warehouse. Using this PA with a number of smaller speakers works a treat.
All voice and computer generated announcements are clear and easily heard in a 5000 sq foot warehouse. Even music sounds pretty good.
One handy feature is that it runs off 12V, which is very useful for my application.
Id really recommend this PA for the likes of shops, warehouses etc.
There is also a bargraph on the output, which is handy when its being used by people who don't know what they are doing so they don't blow the speakers.

Update Mai 2024: Der Verstärker ist noch im Einsatz. Empfehlen würde ich ihn jedoch nicht mehr. Die Talkover-Funktion von Kanal 1 funktioniert nicht nur schlecht, sondern macht den Kanal quasi unbenutzbar. Sobald dort etwas drinsteckt, werden alle anderen Kanäle ständig gemutet, oft reicht dafür ein zu starkes Rauschen im Kabel oder leichtes Übersprechen, was sonst nicht stören würde. Leider hat uns das einige schwierige Veranstaltungen gekostet, bis wir das Problem gefunden haben: Der Effekt ist, dass das Signal manchmal einfach abgehackt ist, klingt ungefähr so wie ein defektes Kabel. Nur ist es nicht weg, wenn man alle Kabel getauscht hat.

Unser Einsatz: Mobile Beschallung per 24V Akku über die Notstromversorgung am Gerät.
Meist 2 Funkmikrofone und Musik.
Wir nutzen nur den Niedrigvoltausgang (8/4 Ohm)

Positiv:
- recht einfache Bedienung
- Leistung stimmt soweit
- Main-Regler lässt sich gut bedienen
- Recording-Ausgänge auf der Rückseite (viele preiswerte Geräte sind ja leider "Sackgassen" für's Signal)
- Buchsen auf der Rückseite und Umschalter soweit sehr gut
- sogar Phantomspeisung

Gut zu wissen:

- der EQ und der "Main"-Regler wirkt sich auf das Gerät aus, jedoch nicht auf die Rec-Ausgänge
- der EQ ist eher begrenzt, aber für die Zielgruppe des Gerätes vermutlich gut genug

Weniger gut:

- die Regler stehen in Nullstellung alle etwas schief
- das Lauterdrehen geht nicht immer ganz flüssig, oft sorgt eine leichte Berührung schon für sehr starke Ansprünge
- die Einstellung des Talkover-Levels ist fummelig (mit Schraubendreher!) und man kann nicht wirklich erkennen, in welcher Stellung der Regler steht
- wie oben beschrieben: die Talkover-Funktion macht bei uns das Gerät unbrauchbar, sobald irgendetwas im Kanal 1 steckt. Das heißt: der Kanal ist eigentlich nicht benutzbar (sonst geht gar nichts mehr).

Sono un installatore professionista, avevo acquisto il primo ampli un po dubbioso visto il prezzo troppo competitivo e l'ho destinato ad un utilizzo in una piccola sala "senza pretese"
Dopo qualche tempo posso dire che sta avendo una buona resa e pertanto ne ho installato un secondo su un impianto piu performate.
A distanza di qualche mese posso affermare che sono estremanente soddisfatto dell'apparato.

All 80% della potenza non sono apprezzabili ad orecchio distorsioni
Forse un po noiosetta la ventola di raffreddamento leggermente rumorosa.

Un buon amplificatore integrato PA anche 100V paragonabile a marchi piu prestigiosi al prezzo di una "cinesata" qualsiasi
Direi che è entrato a far parte dei prodotti che userò abitualmente per questo genere di applicazioni.
Non ricordo se è presente l'accessorio per fissaggio a rack che sarebbe molto utile
