My first Acoustic guitar
P-MAC-C 07.07.2020
I've been a bedroom guitarist for 20 years or more but i've never owned an acoustic guitar. Although my wife has a Yamaha F-310 that she's had for ages. I decided i wanted a 'decent' acoustic, something above the entry level beginner guitars but not something very expensive.
I've played Takemine's at parties and was always impressed with them, if not their price.
The Takemine GD11MCENS is a lovely guitar. Its lovely to look at and lovely to play. Its tone is much richer than the Yamaha and the sustain seems to go on for ever.
At just over €300 its at the exact level i was looking for. Not too cheap but not really expensive.
Its got a lovely feel to it.
It arrived in perfect condition out of the box, and the setup was perfect. A quick tune and i was away...
If your looking to upgrade your beginner acoustic but don't want to invest big bucks i recommend the Takemine GD11MCENS

Upper-mid quality guitar
Matyas S. 09.02.2020
I was looking for a great sounding and relatively cheap electro acoustic. This proved to be a good choice, with some small flaws. Sound is really good, intonation is almost perfect, action is relatively low, no buzz (maybe just a little here and there, but this much is almost nothing). Tuning keys hold tuning nicely, tuner is dead on, but the fret ends are a bit sharp. Not horrible, but enough to notice. All in all, for the price, this is quite decent. I'd buy it again.

This guitar really shines!
Faare 01.06.2024
I was never a big fan of playing acoustic guitars, but I needed one for recording so I bought this piece. It was a blind purchase, didn't even watch the reviews. The price, looks and features caught my eye and I had to get it.

I am beyond satisfied with the craftmanship and how the guitar generally feels and look. The guitar holds tune really well, action is superb, frets and neck feel so smooth and string spacing is a huge plus. It also resonate very good both when played gently and when one pounds it. :)

Preamp is really good, as well as the piezzo. Guitar sounds great when recorded, DI is clear, strong and does not sound artificial and "plastic". I managed to create such sweet sound banks.
I only wish I ordered a sound-hole cover as well.

Amazing!
Mrgth 06.09.2021
I've been playing my new Takamine GD11MCENS for a few weeks now, and I'm in love! The sound is amazing, action nicely low, and the looks just perfect. I was choosing between this, and the Ibanez AW54CE-OPN (which I have played before), and I absolutely do not regret that I chose the Takamine. Would definitely buy again!
