Say no to shoulderbags! Backpack revolution!

Backpacks are definitely the best way to carry a snare, and this is a very well padded and good looking item. I'm using the Meinl 4" x 14" snare drum from right here on Thomann, but even though that's a little smaller than the dimensions here it fits snugly. There's room for a sheet music folder, sticks, earplugs, all the stuff you might carry with you as well. Shoulder bags, they dig into your shoulder, there's no pockets, you can't ride a bike with one on...what a hassle. Backpacks are just better. Very happy!

Also, it's not obvious from the picture, but you can tuck the straps into the rear compartment so the drum is easier to stack. Useful for kit drummers more than marching or samba drummers I guess.

Finally, vegans - I checked and Thomann's helpful advisor told me it's not animal leather on here, it's synthetic. So that's important for our little niche of the world :)

Cette housse est bien design avec un nombre de poches intéressant... surtout quand on doit se déplacer rapidement en ville, en trottinette ou en vélo... Les bretelles s'ajustent bien et facilement. Ça compte quand on ne veut pas être déstabilisé en chemin. Le rembourrage intérieur est très confort et bien réalisé et il y a de la place !! (Une fois, après un concert, j'ai du ranger cymbales et cymbales de charley à l'aveugle car il fallait libérer l'espace rapidement. 5 cymbales de 16" à 10") Tout est rentré au dessus de ma caisse claire, SANS FORCER et les fermetures éclair ont tenu bon).
Je recommande fortement cette housse à tous ceux qui ont un petit budget.
