Do the job but very expensive

It's a nut with a nyloc insert in silver. 5.5mm outside dims.

Very expensive from Thomann for some reason - very much cheaper from Screwfix in the UK, however they don't do the corresponding M3 countersunk machine screws.

Ideal for mounting XLRs in a rack panel. It's tricky to get the nut spinner on when doing this, but that's the fault of the panel and the connector rather than this nut.

Can't really fault these other than they are not black like the machine screws or the panel, but this is not an issue if they are to the back of the assembly.

Gekauft und doch nicht genutzt

Ich habe die M3 Mutter zu den passenden M3 Schrauben von Thon gekauft.

Beim zusammenbauen meiner Rackblenden bin ich fast verrückt geworden. Die Muttern und Schrauben lassen sich durch die Größe nicht super verbauen!

Ich empfehle hier die Neutrik MFD Plättchen. Sind zwar etwas teurer, aber erspart so manchen Aufreger ;-)

Estas tuercas de fijación permiten asegurar los tornillos de manera perfecta, ya que la goma interna hace que se mantengan todo el tiempo sin perder tensión en la rosca.

Bruger disse til at fæstne Neutrikstik på rackpaneler og stagebokse. Plastikringen forhindrer at møtrikken går løs. Man kan sagtens skrue den af igen med en topnøgle men den går ikke løs af sig selv. En uundværlig lille gadget når man har mange stagebokse ude på jobs tit
