Keine Feier ohne Meyer ...
Anonymous 31.08.2014

Amazing quality and sound for the price

Really great mouthpiece, can't beat it for the price. Very free blowing, the sound is easily modifiable and can play in almost any genre and do very well. All around a great mouthpiece for any situation. Amazing for beginner, amateur, and even professional level players. Although the physical quality varies because I have a friend of mine who has the exact same mouthpiece and after months of use it's still like new, whereas on mine the gold color engraving has worn off and can only be felt when rubbing a finger over it. This doesn't affect playing it in any way, it's just aesthetics.

If you thought you were going to sound like Paul Desmond with this mouthpiece, you are sorely mistaken. The board is concave, the sound is raw and sharp. An unpleasant rustling is constantly present. It is very difficult to play quietly. For comparison, the Yamaha 7c, which is made of plastic, is an incomparably better mouthpiece (both mouthpieces have a 1.9mm opening). Not to forget, while playing you constantly feel unpleasant smell, like a car tire in the sun. Rating: 2.
