Wireless connectivity for condenser mics

The XVive U3C Microphone Wireless System is a digital wireless solution for standard condenser microphones that comprises a U3 receiver and a U3C transmitter with XLR connections. The U3C system operates at radio frequencies between 2402MHz and 2458MHz in the 2.4GHz ISM band, which can be used for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other wireless devices without registration and free of charge worldwide. This professional microphone wireless system excels with true diversity technology, six freely selectable radio channels, switchable phantom power, a high-quality sound thanks to 24-bit/48kHz conversion, a dynamic range of 110dB, and a very wide frequency response. A USB Y-cable that allows the transmitter and receiver units to be charged at the same time using a 5V adapter is also included in the scope of delivery.

High signal stability

Thanks to its U3C transmitter with switchable phantom power (48V or 12V), the XVive U3C Microphone Wireless System converts all types of condenser microphones into a handy wireless tool by enabling reliable audio transmission to the XLR microphone input on a mixing console, audio recorder, or portable PA system without the constraints of cables. The U3 receiver comprises two antennae for true diversity reception, which ensures high signal stability even under difficult operating conditions. The XVive U3C Microphone Wireless System offers up to five hours of battery operation, which depends on the power supply required by the connected condenser microphone, and the transmitter and receiver units are fully charged in just two hours.

Wireless freedom for every performance

Although the XVive U3C Microphone Wireless System is specially designed for condenser microphones, it can also be used for all other types of audio sources that operate on 48V or 12V phantom power, such as active DI boxes. The U3C system offers wireless freedom not only for singers and speakers who use a handheld microphone but also for instrumentalists who require a clip-on condenser microphone to capture the sound of their instrument, e.g. a saxophone or trumpet, that will also allow them to move around freely during their performance without being tethered by a cable.

About Xvive Audio

Xvive Audio officially entered the market in 2012 with its compact U2 wireless guitar system. Since then, the company has also been involved in the development of wireless microphone technology. Its catalogue also includes effects pedals, such as the Signature Series, which were developed in partnership with guitarist Thomas Blug. The products are designed by an American team, based in Pasadena, California, which is composed of musicians and engineers and draws on decades of professional experience. Its lead designer, Howard Davies, was previously employed at Electro Harmonix and Pigtronix, among others. Xvive Audio's goal is to create products that deliver exceptional sound and build quality, while remaining affordable for any musician.

Flexible plug-and-play wireless system

To set up the XVive U3C Microphone Wireless System, users simply plug the U3C transmitter and the U3 receiver into the XLR connections of their respective devices, select the required phantom power for the condenser microphone, activate the system using the power switches, and select the same radio channel on both units. The U3C transmitter allows the audio signal to be sent to several U3 receivers simultaneously if the same radio channel is used, which means that several XVive U3C systems can be operated in parallel without causing interference using either one of the six freely selectable channels.

Great for use with a measurement mic
The fade 24.05.2024
Taking measurements in a venue can be a hassle as you need to run cable all over the room and even to balconies. This device negates the cable and makes things a LOT easier. I measured the mic's response both with this unit and a cable: it was the same. Great robust little units and I'd recommend the carrying case as an additional purchase.

One problem: the unit accidentally enables itself in my bag and drains all the charge.

==========================
Verarbeitung
==========================

==========================
Bedienung/Handhabung
==========================

==========================
Sound
==========================

==========================
sonstiges
==========================
