Premium-quality conversion

The Yellowtec PUC2 Line high-resolution USB audio interface converts analogue audio signals into a digital format (A/D conversion) that can be processed by digital devices, and accurately reproduces high-resolution digital audio signals in an analogue format (D/A conversion) that can be integrated into analogue studio environments and high-end Hi-Fi systems. As a premium-quality AD/DA converter, the PUC2 Line allows analogue and digital devices to be seamlessly integrated with each other as part of audio workflows such as recording, streaming, and post-production, and therefore plays a crucial role in creating premium audio in 192kHz and 24-bit quality with a dynamic range of 114dB for broadcasting purposes. Thanks to its high frequency accuracy of +/-10ppm and ultra-low jitter of less than 10mUI, the Yellowtec PUC2 Line USB ensures premium-quality AD/DA conversion that is eminently suitable for professional applications.

Headphone output for low-latency monitoring

The front panel of the Yellowtec PUC2 Line features a pair of input and output connections in XLR format that are suitable for digital AES/EBU signals, a green 3.5mm mini-jack socket that allows a pair of headphones to be connected for monitoring with a very low latency of less than 3ms, and a yellow 3.5mm mini-jack socket for an optional zero-latency monitoring activation switch, alongside a red LED (ZLM) that illuminates when zero-latency monitoring is active and a green LED (RDY) that indicates whether the connection to the computer has been correctly established. The rear panel of the audio interface comprises two pairs of analogue XLR inputs and outputs, which allow analogue audio signals to be received for recording purposes, and monitoring speakers or analogue mixing consoles to be connected for further signal processing, respectively.

Lossless digital signal transmission

Thanks to their plug-and-play design, all PUC2 audio interfaces from Yellowtec can be easily integrated into an audio setup using a computer. The built-in AES input allows audio signals from digital mics or playback devices to be directly received without losses using special AES/EBU cables, which are available separately. The range of products offered by Yellowtec also includes two further variants of the PUC2 audio interface: The PUC2 Lite, which converts AES/EBU signals into USB signals without quality losses, and the PUC2 Mic LEA, which enables the recording of analogue microphone signals with excellent speech intelligibility. The Yellowtec PUC2 Line model features an easy-to-use layout without any control elements and a robust housing that acts as a thermal conductor to protect the device against overheating and ensure reliable operation over many years of use.

Premium-quality AES-to-USB conversion

The Yellowtec PUC2 Line audio interface provides users with an easy-to-use solution for reliably transmitting the professional sound of AES/EBU streams to a computer via USB without any losses, e.g. in order to create high-quality D/A conversions of audio signals from external mastering and Hi-Fi systems or recordings of digital mics. Lossless premium-quality AES-to-USB conversion is ensured by a high frequency accuracy of +/-10ppm and an ultra-low jitter of less than 10mUI. Users who want to operate their PUC2 Line in stand-alone mode without a connection to a computer can also connect it to an external power supply using a 5V power adapter (available separately).

Totaler Fehlkauf

Consiglio a tutti.
