Premium audio for analogue recordings

The Yellowtec PUC2 Mic LEA high-resolution USB audio interface with XLR and jack connections provides radio broadcast professionals, podcasters, and streamers with a flexible solution for automatically optimising incoming analogue microphone and line signals in real time during recording or streaming. The integrated LEA technology is a proprietary development from Yellowtec that facilitates perfect automatic levelling, prevents overloading, and delivers outstanding speech intelligibility for voice recordings. The two independent LEA engines that are at the heart of the Yellowtec PUC2 Mic LEA allow the microphone signals to be automatically levelled without typical artefacts such as gain pumping, while a pair of independent high-quality preamps ensure crystal-clear recordings of speech and vocals as well as instruments in every fine nuance.

Innovative technology for zero latency

Yellowtec's proprietary LEA technology automatically creates perfectly levelled voice recordings for input signals from up to two XLR microphones, which makes the PUC2 Mic LEA unrivalled on the audio equipment market. This innovative audio interface will also capably handle challenging recording situations in loud environments by reliably preventing overloading and underloading, and provide users with impeccably levelled voice recordings in professional audio quality with a 24-bit and 192kHz resolution – for instant broadcasting without the need for complicated presettings or time-consuming post-processing. Furthermore, the Yellowtec PUC2 Mic LEA also allows two mic channels to be streamed via USB and can alternatively be used as a stand-alone mic preamp. In the case of demanding recording sessions that require a particularly high degree of attention and accuracy, users can also connect a pair of headphones via the 6.3mm jack socket for zero-latency real-time monitoring.

Authentic reproduction of vocals and instruments

The Yellowtec PUC2 Mic LEA audio interface will be an equally excellent choice for professional recordings of singing voices and instruments thanks to its two independent high-end preamps, which allow the mic and instrument audio signals to be captured in full detail and excellent quality after switching off the LEA Engine via the PUC2 software. This innovative Yellowtec software, which is included in the scope of delivery, also offers a wide variety of further settings and control options that allow users to individually adjust recordings according to their preferences. The two built-in independent preamps reliably deliver crystal-clear, undistorted sound for all types of vocal and instrument recordings, and allow even the finest nuances of classical pieces to be perfectly captured in professional 24-bit audio quality with a dynamic range of 114dB.

Perfectly balanced voice recordings

The Yellowtec PUC2 Mic LEA audio interface is the ideal solution for just about every type of professional-quality voice recording: Whether it's a podcast, an audio/video stream, professional voiceover dubbing, or a video call, the PUC2 Mic LEA will always make sure that speakers can sound their best thanks to its intelligent LEA levelling technology, which delivers perfectly balanced voice recordings in real time, even in the case of low speaking voices or high ambient noise levels. The integrated AES input also allows audio signals from digital mics or playback devices to be directly received without losses, while the included PUC2 software provides a wide range of individual settings. To achieve perfect levelling results, users can either select from various pre-installed LEA presets or make their own individual settings via the PUC2 software (suitable for Windows and Mac operating systems).

I have a audio interface it's called tascam us-200 before. It's stable but the quality is not good. I like singing so I need a better interface. yellowtec puc2 mic is very suitable for me. Although it doesn't have enough inputs and outputs, just for recored sound it's enough.I have a problem that only when I use the record software I can open the asio driver and choose the 24bit to record, otherwise it's showing that is WDM and the highest record is 16bit 192khz. I don't why. But it doesn't matter when i use it.
