Cheaper is not always less quality

If you are even remotely interested in modular and eurorack synthesis, then Doepfer is a name you certainly know of. This brand is the epitome of "cheaper is not always less quality' if you ask me.

The doepfer range has been available for many years, and the new vintage styled modules are not different from their initial grey counterparts, but do look a lot nicer in my opinion :-)

The module is well built , solid quality, and sounds great. It has all basic features you'd expect, and is easy to install and use.

The doepfer VCO are great, and sound good, even compared to expensive modules.

This is a good option for both the experienced as beginning eurorack enthousiast.

Über den A-110-1 wurde ja schon ausführlich geschrieben und ich kann mich dem nur anschließen. Die Vintage Edition macht einen edlen optischen Eindruck und damit es auch so bleibt, sind den Montageschrauben passende U-Scheibchen aus PVC beigelegt, um den Lack um die Bohrungen herum zu schonen (wie bei allen VE-Modulen). Ich verwende den A-110-1 zusammen mit dem A-110-2 Basic VCO und einem Analogue Systems RS-95e VCO, die sich wunderbar gegenseitig ergänzen. Meine einzige Kritik ist der doppelte PWM-Input; hier hätte ich mir statt des ungeregelten Inputs einen Soft-Sync-Input wie beim A-110-2 gewünscht. Ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden damit.

Usato per aggiungere un secondo oscillatore al Moog Mother 32.

Ottima fattura e suono, l'onda quadra è identica a quella del mother.
Escursione di diverse ottave per ottenere le sonorità più estreme. Preciso nell'intonazione e nella possibilità di modulare frequenza e Pulse Width.
