Another Solid DW Product
DrumandBassCollector 18.06.2017
As always, slightly overpriced for a single stand but...

Apart from being pretty heavy and not being able to hold a drum smaller than 12", it really does everything you need from a snare stand. No matter how weird you set up your snare/rack tom this stand will be able to get into the position and be well balanced enough to hold it their steady for the whole show/life time.

Great if your touring and you want a consistent set up. The memory locks make it so easy to pull everything apart and slot back together in the exact same position. The fact you can take the snare basket off with a drum key is great if you have a small case/bag. I would suggest getting a larger black DW drum key for this as using a normal key can prove to be a bit difficult getting it quite tight enough so it doesn't wobble.

Overall

Pros:
Solid
Reliable
Consistent Set Up

Cons:
Slightly Overpriced
Won't Hold Drums Smaller Than 12"
Needs a DW drum key if you pack/set up often

The expected quality

Anyone who knows a bit about drums, knows that DW hardware is supposed to be good. It isn´t cheap, but it is good. Yes, it is heavy. But that just means it won´t move. Yes, it isn´t cheap, but it is good. Is the price in direct corellation to quality? Probably not meaning that you probably pay something extra due to brand, but overall DW hardware will never let you down.

DW 9300 Snare Stand
Myles 24.05.2013
It's heavy but it's good...! I loove the DW 9000 series range of hardware, albeit is heavy to transport. I maily use this gear in my studio where it doesn't move too much from location to ocation, however a steadier snare stand you will not find. Very stable, versatile and accomodates a very wide range of snares. I've had 12" to 15" and eveything inbetween in there. Also great as a tom stand if your'e going for that rackless retro look...
