The DW PDP 800 Snare Drum Stand is a medium-weight snare drum stand, which offers extensive versatility. Thanks to its robust double-braced legs and anti-slip rubber feet, this model ensures that a secure and stable position is maintained even when playing heavier styles of music. The stand is adapted to the drum diameter with the aid of a corkscrew-shaped wheel, which has an extremely pleasant feel on account of its special design. The basket is suitable for all standard snare drum diameters. The stand is also equipped with a Glide Tilter, a special mechanism which provides stepless basket adjustment.

All products from the PDP 800 series have been designed by the renowned manufacturer DW (Drum Workshop) in California. In terms of design and technical features, they reflect the professional hardware series available from DW, but carry a budget-friendly price tag, which primarily aims them at ambitious new drummers, music schools, and music teachers. About PDP

PDP is the acronym for "Pacific Drums and Percussion" and is the name of a California-based drum and hardware manufacturer. The company was founded in 1999 by DW Drums to offer affordable instruments in addition to its own exclusive - and correspondingly expensive - brand, DW drums. To reduce costs, the production of the drum shells was outsourced first to Mexico and later to China. PDP has always used many original parts from the DW series. The Concept Series, with shells made of 100% maple, is currently the flagship in the portfolio. The Black Wax snare drums, available in six different sizes, are also part of the product range.

Simple setup

The affordability of the DW PDP 800 Snare Stand makes it the ideal choice for more minimalist drum setups in rehearsal rooms and classrooms, but also suitable for more advanced setups. Thanks to the Glide Tilter mechanism, the basket angle is infinitely adjustable, and the composite memory lock also enables rapid assembly of the stand following transportation, thus rendering it unnecessary to search for the optimum position every time. In addition to snare drums, the DW PDP 800 Snare Stand can also accommodate other drums of a comparable diameter.

Le pied est robuste et pas trop lourd. Une bonne stabilité. Je l'utilise avec une caisse claire DW Collector's 14" plutôt lourde, et le pied se comporte parfaitement. Je m'en sers également avec une caisse claire PDP 12". Le panier se règle parfaitement. Tous les réglages se font aisément, et avec précision. Je recommande vraiment ce pied de caisse claire.

Stabil - Tut was er soll

Ich habe mich beim Kauf meines PDP Concept Maple Kits für die PDP 800er Hardware entschieden, darunter auch der Snareständer.

Was soll man sagen, er tut genau das was er soll. Er ist stabil, Qualitativ sehr gut verarbeitet und durch die Memory Lock Funktion kann man ihn ohne Probleme nach einem Locationwechsel wieder so aufstellen wie im Studio oder Proberaum.

Alles in allem kann ich das Produkt auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen! Bin sehr zufrieden damit!
