A really great concept but poor quality control.

I really like the form factor and features of this pedal. It's so light and thin it's amazing you can still use it. The pedal spacing is a little tight with shoes but works great with socks! But I think there's something wrong with the production of the Softstep 3 because I've already received 2 defective units right out of the box! I heard other people had to return theirs too. Sad cause I really like it! But we have to step on this thing, and I don't have a good feeling about its longevity even if I was to get a working one.
