Black nylon strings
RichH 18.12.2020
Use: jazz guitar

Pro: sound good, last a long time and have a very smooth sound

Cons: you really cannot cut these on the black (wound) section of the string, or it will unravel! If you avoid that, you are good though. One other thing - the heavy guage version of these are great (if your nut is cut for seriously big strings). The smaller guage though is so bendy you will apply the slightest pressure on them and go sharp, so proceed with caution!

Summary: a very good and interesting alternative to Thomasitk Infeld flat wounds for a smooth jazz tone

Didnt get why no solid top!

i got some tape wound on my bass, i wanted to try some on the guitar.
I ABSOLUTLY ADORE THEM!
I did put them on my Les Paul but made sure not to cut the string past the thing that old the tape (went around one more time on the E string)
And i had no problem fitting them at the bridge.

Keep in mind these are the light ones and i have not tryied it with medium strings.

Only thing i would hope is for them to do medium/light as it is more the tension i am looking for but soft are real nice but i admit you have to be more carefull as of wich way you apply pressure on your chord otherwise it may sound off.

As of now these are my new string of choice , even so they may cost a bit more i willing to pay!

Unfortunately not the sound i was expecting and therefore I switched back to thomastik. Of course that doesn't mean anything since the preference of the sound is different for everyone and what was an unfortunate choice for me may be a great choice for other guitar players.

Vertikales Bending für Fortgeschrittene
MT Boy 11.11.2020
- Kein Problem! Äh...was?!?

Gestimmte Gitarre verstimmt spielen – so einfach geht’s!

Ist das vielleicht doch eine Stärke? Ja!
