Gorgeous mouthpiece
Carlo Da Cruz 16.09.2025
Really good at sounding like real vintage otto links. Im very very please. From what Ive heard it can be slightly hit or miss with some people getting amazing mouthpieces and some not but i really feel like I got the best mouthpiece Ive ever tried. Paired with a 4 selmer jazz reed, H forestone, 3.5 Vandoren blue or a daddario reserve 4 and with my rovner dark 2r ligature ive i feel like my sax is allowing me to play as dark and mellow as I am capable of doing with my level. Maybe one day my needs will change but for right now this was my perfect mouthpiece.

Much better than expected..
Ricky M sax 16.02.2026
I love and have mainly played Otto Links, but they are seldom as good as they should be. The finishing is almost never as good as you'd want. Which makes them always a bit of a challenge to play and not as reed friendly as other mouthpieces.

These "vintage" one's are not part of the new and improved range that is launching as I write this, however, this mouthpiece exceeded my expectations in every way. It seals perfectly, is symmetrical and the tip and rails are beautifully finished.

Whilst I was hoping for that, I was not expecting it! It plays really well, like a brighter and slightly louder "Tone Edge". Online is perhaps the way to go with Links!?

Great mouthpiece
windymiller 07.11.2020
I was looking for a new mouthpiece that gave me the vintage sound but a little bit of resistance to it. This was perfect for that. Nice mellow deep sound. The resistance level is perfect. Allows me to provide controlled vibrato and other great dynamics. If the resistance is too low, it's like playing a childs recorder. Really hard to control. This mouthpiece gives me the perfect level of resistance and hence easy to control. With a beautiful sound to boot.

Trop brillant (pour moi !!)
jaz'lou 30.11.2020
