I am rookie tenor sax player, with the customary Yamaha 6C study mouthpiece, which sounds great and forgiving. I wanted to feel the jazz and I bought the Otto. Wow! Jazz there is. Now it became my standard, versatile, surprisingly forgiving. With a 2.5 or 3 reed, my horn, nothing expensive by itself, sounds as good as those multi thousand euro saxes.

Das Mundstück hat eine größere Bohrung als das Vintage und geht gut auf den neuen Kork meines alten Toneking. Die Flächen sind innen ganz leicht unsymmetrisch - ist aber o.k. und war diesbezüglich das beste von Dreien. Die Ansprache ist gut. Den Klang finde ich in den Tiefen fast genial. Richtig luftig und sanft. Aber ich komme mit den Höhen nicht hin. Da fehlt die Klarheit -irgendwie abgewürgt. Total schade, sonst wär das mein neues Mundstück geworden. Die Schraube hakelt, da das Gewinde nur auf ein "Rechteckprofil" aufgeschnitten ist - finde ich enttäuschend. Die Kappe geht so - würde man sich aber nicht unbedingt freiwillig dazukaufen. Nun, fast wär es etwas mit uns geworden.
