Was quite skeptical when I first considered getting something other than a Yamaha or Selmer, but this alto does not disappoint.
The keys are finely tuned and responsive, the intonation is perfect, especially for someone who's got pitch and intonation practice, and the sound is warm and brassy.
Ideal for soft music, pop, as well as house, and does well for rock music too. Coupled with an effects pedal, the options are endless.
The only issue was with the finishing. For the first month or two, some sort of black paint dust was present all over the horn, but it has all but disappeared through a lot of play and end of show cleaning with pull through.
The spring rods do rust very quickly, especially playing in the Maldives, but their effectiveness doesn't decrease. Might help to anodise it once you get the product.
Overall, best budget alto saxophone for intermediate skill levels, while good for beginners too, but the more possibilities in manipulating tone and sound are available the better you are at it.
