Good reed.
SaxSam 26.05.2021
I tried this reed with my Theo Wanne Fire 8. It was a good combination, although I like more the v16 reed. This was very easy to play actually.

With my Vandoren V5-A55 was a little hard but thus us a matter of taste. With the V16-A6S+ I had a good response too. Overall a top reed based on my personal taste and experience.

Great reeds
Musicanter 08.05.2023
These are great reeds that I use with mouthpieces that have medium to small tip openings. They sound great and are very consistent. That said, you need to use a range of different reed types and strengths with different mouthpieces and instruments, the important thing is to get a good mouthpiece/reed combination which you find by trial and error. There is no 'one size fits all'. That said, most of the time I find I'm using either Java Red 3's or 2 1/2's or Vandoren Blue, 2 1/2's with most of my setups.

Perfect for NY Bros
Solar 28.06.2017
I use Theo Wanne NY Bros mouthpiece on my alto Selmer III Series saxophone and they fit perfectly. First impression was that they are a little heavy for my #7 mouthpiece but after 2 weeks everything is ok. I used to play Vandoren Blue reeds but they are to classical for me. Java Filed Red is much better choice for contemporary music. Higly recommended!

Average sound
anonymous2 09.06.2020
I bought multiple reeds, all from Vandoren, and my feeling about this one is that is not very versatile. The sound is kind of average, neither bright or dark.
