After trying a Yamaha custom 4CM I have changed my mind about this mouthpiece. Rather like the Optimum, I find it lacks projection and resonance. I have many older Vandorens with a wider opening and better sound, but they need softer reeds which limit the altissimo notes.
Note it is a classical mouthpiece, you need a v16 for jazz.

Sehr leichte Ansprache in allen Lagen , top Verarbeitung, nicht ganz so eng wie manch andere klassische Mundstücke, mit etwas längerer Bahn (weshalb auch für vollere Lippen geeignet) ,voluminöser Klang möglich und dennoch gut zu kontrollieren. Kann lange Zeit am Stück gespielt werden, ohne Schmerzen oder Ermüdung. Für Schüler und Profis daher gleichermaßen vorteilhaft. Toll z.B. in Kombination mit der Vandoren Optimum Ligature und Vandoren Blue-Box Reeds 2 1/2 bis 3. Verwendung: Stilrichtung, vorwiegend klassische Musik.
