Zu dem Saxophon gibt es tatsächlich nicht viel zu sagen.
Optik: wunderhübsch :-)
Mechanik: erinnert eher an ein schweizer Uhrwerk, denn an ein Saxophon
Ansprache: total easy
Sound: warm, rund, ausgewogen - klingt nach perfektem Saxophon
Koffer: gut und robust
Mundstück: ist dabei und auch gut - wer aber so ein Teil kauft, der wird noch ganz andere im Köcher haben - bspw. FL oder DG
Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert

Premetto di suonare già da anni un Selmer Serie II del quale continuo ad essere soddisfatto: fare confronti, a questi livelli, non ha molto senso: ci troviamo di fronte ad uno strumento facile da suonare, intonati asino e dalla meccanica comoda e perfetta, dipende quindi da che tipo di suono cerchiamo, la qualità è fuori discussione. Il bello di questo sax è che si adatta facilmente anche a stili diversi, probabilmente dà il meglio a chi cerca un suono brillante e potente, posto ovviamente di usare un’ansia non troppo dura (2 o 2,5 sembrano ideali), fa faville sul registro alto e ruggisce bene anche sull’acutissimo, all’altro estremo rende comunque perfettamente, è vero che rispetto al Selmer ha un suono lievemente meno ricco, però (sorpresa graditissima) permette di ottenere pianissimo perfetti e un “soffiato” eccellente (ovviamente con becco dalla cameratura piuttosto ampia, almeno 6 o 7) anche nella regione più bassa. Unica raccomandazione (molto soggettiva anche quella, però): non mi sentirei di consigliarlo senza riserve a chi usa un becco metallico; per intenderci: è suonabilissimo, però perde un po’ in bellezza timbrica, viceversa, se volete “svegliare la belva” allora non solo può funzionare, ma con un’ancia ambypoly 2 Silverstein diventa letteralmente devastante (ovviamente perde in raffinatezza, però rivela carattere ed aggressività da vendere senza creare problemi di intonazione il che, decisamente, non è poco!)
